The Governor of Ondo State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the dissolution of the State Executive Council with immediate effect.
Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, announced this in a press release posted on his social media page.
The Governor however “exempted two members of the cabinet from the dissolution due to the critical nature of their duties”.
Those exempted are the Commissioner of Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo (SAN), and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Funmi Omowumi Isaac.
The affected cabinet members are asked to hand over all state properties in their care to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
The Governor who thanked the executive members for their service and contributions to the development of the State, wished them well in their future endeavours.
