The suspended aide of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Ms. Favour Obakoro, has been reportedly arrested by the Police in Abuja, the FCT, over alleged fraud.
Social media influencer, VeryDarkMan, broke the news of her arrest to the public.
“Them don detain SSA for Abuja. She went there to start making noise, my own be say na me get this social media, if you sc@m anybody just pray make e no reach me, you go pay”, he wrote.
The embattled former aide who is popularly known as Vida Modelo, was the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Morals and Diaspora Affairs to Oborevwori until she was called out by VeryDarkMan, for allegedly using her position to fraudulently obtain money from different individuals with a promise to help use her connection with the governor of the state to facilitate their travel to overseas.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Kingsley Eze Emu, had in a statement on Tuesday announced her suspension, to enable security agencies to carry out proper investigation on the matter.
Police operatives in Abuja however invited her and later detained her when evidence against her was presented by the complainants.
